Explanation of Blog Title

You can not boil a frog by dropping it into boiling water, it will immediately hop out. So, to prevent it's hopping out, the water has to be cool/cold. You know, like the pond it lives in. Then you slowly increase the heat.

This was my reason for using this as an analogy for the present circumstances We-the-People currently find ourselves. We are that Frog! As an example, take our alledged "energy crisis" and addiction to Petroleum. This is a farse, we've been dupted into believing by Big Oil, in cahoots with the Auto Industry. When gas was cheap (cool water) there weren't any complaints, then the prices started to rise(slowly raising the heat). Now at $4.00 a gallon and $140.00 a barrel ( the water is now at a roiling boil).
As the Saudis started to get flakey, and the Shah of Iran got dumpt by the Ayatollah, President Carter had a dream; a United States operating off of a fuel that literally would tell the Saudis, the Big Oil guys and the Auto Industry what they could do wirh their oil and fuel wasting cars. So Carter and his administration, elected to award research grants to anyone that could develope a fuel that would be pollution free ,cheap and could be utilized wherever fossil fuels were now being used.

For 20 years this guy worked on this research, and finally, Success. The Irony is; Americans paid for this successful research but are being treated as the Frog.
